If you could turn the clock back 100 years, with the goal of finding the ideal pristine location to spend your life or enjoy an active vacation, you’ll likely find yourself at Jensen Beach on Florida’s east coast – the Treasure Coast, aptly named for the treasure it really is.

If you’re seeking the genuine charm of a life gone by, but with all the amenities of the present, you can’t do better than this wonderful community. In fact, Jensen Beach has been named one of the top places to retire in the United States, if you’re thinking that far ahead. It’s easy to see why special people are drawn to the unspoiled natural beauty of our beaches and our laid back vibe. Over a century old, Jensen Beach is one of the few remaining ‘old-Florida’ towns that successfully blend preservation with progress.

Our beautiful landscape includes breathtaking views from one of the highest points on Florida’s Atlantic Coast, miles of pristine beaches on Hutchinson Island, canopied forests and grassy marshes of Savannas Preserve State Park and the sparkling blue waters of the Indian River Lagoon. The beaches of Hutchinson Island are natural and captivating. Allow yourself to lose track of time while spending an afternoon relaxing in the sunshine or shelling along the waters’ edge.

Jensen Beach offers a pleasant year-round climate and we guarantee plenty of leisure activities. Of course there’s the always popular day-at-the-beach at some of Florida’s best loved beaches. You’ll find dozens of places to dine, casual and formal, and lots of unique shops to scour. For boaters, you’ll love our outstanding waterways, the ocean, and all those special spots for anglers to explore.
